The Experience

You get picked up from your Jackson hotel and driven straight into the park. The guide handles the entrance gate while you settle in, then the day unfolds as a series of viewpoints and stops rather than a hiking itinerary—you step out of the air-conditioned vehicle, stand in front of the landscape, and the guide points out what lives there and what shaped it.
