The experience

What happens after the ride ends? Most ATV experiences stop when the engines do, but this one keeps going. After you finish the 60-minute trail ride through Eldorado Canyon (a stretch of towering canyon walls and open desert), you head to the Adventure Zone, where the operator sets up hatchet throwing, cornhole, air hockey, gel gun wars and other outdoor games. The ride itself takes you through an 1861 gold mining town with historic mines and old buildings. Your guide shares stories about the site while you navigate the trails. Midway through, you stop for water and the guide captures action shots of you riding.

The whole experience runs four hours from hotel pickup to drop-off. You get picked up from your Las Vegas hotel (or drive to the location if you prefer), travel 45 minutes to the canyon, receive safety instruction and gear (helmet, goggles, gloves and a neck gaiter), then ride. The operator provides unlimited cold water, sunscreen, and a dusting-off station when you're done. You walk away with 30+ photos and videos of your ride, a $119 value included in the price. A waiver is required before you start.

Choose your vehicle at checkout: a single-rider ATV, a 2-seater RZR, or a 4-seater RZR. Hotel pickup is available on all three. If you drive to the location instead, the price adjusts. Closed-toe shoes are required. Long sleeves and pants are recommended to protect against dust and sun. The ride suits first-time riders and experienced ones alike, though it is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or serious cardiovascular conditions. Damage liability applies: ATV damage starts at $300 for tire or rim issues, $3,500 minimum if the vehicle rolls. RZR damage is $600 for tires or rims, $3,500 if rolled.
