If you want a break from Dubai’s sun, this is it. You’ll ski or snowboard indoors, meet penguins up close, ride ziplines and chairlifts—all with your winter gear sorted. It’s fun for all ages and easy to spend hours here without ever getting bored.
Walking into Ski Dubai feels like stepping into a different world—one minute you’re dodging the city’s heat, the next you’re crunching over real snow. My glasses fogged up right at the entrance, which made me laugh. The staff handed us thick jackets and fleece gloves; honestly, I was glad for the extra layers. You’ll want to keep your phone warm in your pocket—it gets chilly fast.
We started with the chairlift, gliding quietly above families tumbling down the slopes and kids shrieking on toboggans. Our guide pointed out the penguin area—yes, actual penguins in Dubai! Watching them waddle around was a highlight for me (they do a little “march” every hour or so). If you’re feeling brave, try the Snow Bullet zipline. I watched a couple ahead of me scream and laugh as they zipped overhead. There’s no need to rush; everything’s close together inside the snow park, so you can bounce from tubing to bumper cars without losing time.
Nope! All your winter gear—jacket, trousers, boots, gloves—is provided when you arrive.
The main slope is for intermediate level 2 skiers or snowboarders only. But there are plenty of other activities for beginners in the snow park.
Yes, there are public transportation options nearby so getting there is pretty straightforward.
If you have spinal injuries or similar conditions, it might not be suitable. Otherwise, most fitness levels are welcome.
Your ticket covers unlimited access to all snow park rides—chairlift rides, Mountain Thriller coaster, tubing runs, bumper cars—and even lets you pick between two hours on the main slope or two zipline rides. Winter jacket, trousers, disposable socks, boots and fleece gloves are all included too. If you’re planning to ski or snowboard on the big slope though, make sure you’re at least intermediate level 2.
