The pickup happens between 3:30 and 4:00 PM from your hotel, and the drive into Lahbab Desert begins in an air-conditioned 4x4 Land Cruiser. Once the red dunes open up, the dune bashing starts: the vehicle tackles the slopes while you hold on, then stops at a high point for sunset photos before the light goes. The pace is fast enough to feel the desert's scale and the vehicle's power, but the driver knows the terrain and the timing.

At the traditional Bedouin campsite, the evening unfolds in stages. You change into traditional Arabic costumes, get henna tattoos applied by hand, and settle in at the camp. Unlimited Arabic coffee, tea, and soft drinks flow throughout, and a sheesha corner sits open if you want to try it. The BBQ buffet offers both vegetarian and meat options, and the meal happens while the entertainment builds: Tanoura dancers in spinning skirts and fire performers take the stage, followed by belly dance. The show is live, not recorded, and the performers work the crowd.

Sandboarding and a camel ride round out the activities before the return drive to your hotel. The whole day runs about six hours from pickup to drop-off.
