The experience

Your guide picks you up from your Dubai hotel in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle that seats six. The drive takes you out of the city and into the Red Dunes, where the real activity begins: 20 to 30 minutes of dune bashing. Accelerating up and coasting down the sand at the rhythm of traditional Arabian music. You'll have a sandboard to surf the dunes and a designated stop to photograph the golden hour light before it fades. A short camel ride and photo follow, then the vehicle heads to the camp.

At the Deluxe-rated camp, you're welcomed with Arabic coffee, traditional sweets, dates and water. A henna artist can paint a small design on your hand (for women and children), and you can try shisha in the designated area. Your waiter brings appetizers, then you move to your table where a live barbecue station serves grilled meats and freshly baked bread alongside a buffet of main courses, desserts and soft drinks of your choice.

As night falls, three entertainment shows unfold: a fire artist performs first, followed by the Tanoura dance, then a belly dancer. You'll gaze at the stars and city lights on the drive back to Dubai. The entire experience, from pickup to drop-off, takes about 7 hours.
