The experience

Hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle takes you to the red dunes, where you'll have 20 minutes to settle in before the main event. The dune bashing session lasts more than an hour: the driver navigates sharp turns and steep slopes that make the ride genuinely thrilling. You'll stop mid-desert for sunset photos and the chance to try sand boarding if you want it. Along the way, you'll spot camels roaming the dunes.

Once the light fades, the camp comes alive. You're welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and tea, then seated for an open buffet dinner under the stars. The meal includes kebabs, hummus, fresh salads and other grilled dishes. While you eat, live performers take the stage: belly dancers, a tanoura dancer spinning in traditional dress, and fire shows. Water and soft drinks flow throughout. Alcoholic drinks are available at the bar for an additional charge.

The tour also includes a camel ride, henna painting, and the chance to wear traditional Arabic dress for photos. If you want to drive yourself, quad bikes and dune buggies can be added for a separate fee at checkout.
