You're picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven into the desert, where a professional safari driver takes the wheel for the dune bashing: a roller-coaster ride across the golden sand that stops at the highest dune for sunset photos. The vehicle then heads to a Bedouin campsite in the heart of the desert, where a warm Arabian welcome meets you: Arabic coffee and dates, soft drinks, tea and water. A brief camel ride follows, then you settle on carpets and cushions while a BBQ buffet is prepared under the stars.
