The tour starts with pickup from your hotel or home in Dubai or Sharjah in an air-conditioned 4x4. Once in the desert, the vehicle tackles the dunes at speed: dune bashing is the main event, a series of climbs and descents that feel like a ride more than a drive. The driver knows the terrain and the vehicle is built for it, so the thrills come without the steering wheel in your hands.

At the Desert Middle Point, you stop to photograph the landscape and the sunset. This is when the pace slows and you have time to frame shots or just stand in the open desert as the light changes.
