The experience

The SUV collects you from your hotel in the late afternoon and heads into the desert. Once there, an experienced instructor takes the wheel for 30 minutes of dune bashing: the vehicle climbs and drops the sand dunes while you hold on. It's the physical centerpiece of the tour, and it happens early enough that you still have light and energy for what comes next.

After the dunes settle, you ride a camel across the sand, then move to the desert camp. This is a shared space where the evening unfolds: henna painting for women, sandboarding down smaller dunes, a photo stop to catch the sunset, and live shows. Belly dance, tanura spinning, and fire performance. The barbecue buffet arrives with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, served under the open sky. Soft drinks and mineral water flow throughout.

The driver speaks English and manages the route and timing, so you're not navigating or deciding when to move between stops. Children ride along (from age 1), and the camp accommodates families.
