The experience

The morning begins with a city tour hitting the landmarks that frame Dubai's past and present. You'll walk through Dubai Museum inside the Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest building still standing in the emirate, then move through Bur Dubai Village and along Dubai Creek to see how the waterfront shaped the city's trade routes. Jumeirah Beach gives you the postcard moment, Burj Al-Arab rising from the sand, before the guide brings you back to the hotel to rest before the afternoon shift.

Around midday the 4x4 Land Cruiser picks you up again and heads toward the desert, roughly 45 minutes away. Once the dunes start, the driver takes the vehicle off-road for a dune bash lasting 30 to 40 minutes, hitting slopes and climbing higher dunes if you want the full ride. You'll stop for photos of the landscape and falcons, then move into the activities: a short camel ride you can repeat, sand boarding down the slopes, and a sunset photo stop (weather permitting). The pace here is built around what you want to do, not a fixed schedule.

Dinner happens at the Bedouin camp as the light fades. A self-service buffet with grilled and vegetarian options, desserts, and unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea sets the table. While you eat, live entertainment runs through the evening: belly dance, Tanura dance and fire shows (these are suspended during Ramadan and official public holidays). You can also get henna painted, smoke shisha in the designated area, or dress in local costume for photos. The driver brings you back to your hotel once the show ends.
