The experience

You start in Hammamet itself, beginning at the cultural center in the villa that hosts the international festival each summer, then moving through the Punic archaeological site of Pupput and finishing with the fort of La Medina, built in the years 893–914. From there, the route takes you to Nabeul, where the ancient Roman city of Neapolis sits alongside the medina with its souks of painted pottery and faience. Kelibia comes next: a fishing port town known for its fort and its dry muscat wine.

The tour then passes through Kerkouane, a Punic city and necropolis on the UNESCO World Heritage List, before reaching Haouaria, where artificial caves dug by Carthaginian and Roman prisoners or slaves cut into the hillside. The day ends at Korbous, a natural hot spring spa known since antiquity. Because you're driving yourself with the vehicle and driver provided, you control how long you linger at each stop, whether that's an hour browsing the pottery in Nabeul or a quick walk through the Kerkouane site.

The vehicle is air-conditioned and the route covers roughly 10 to 14 hours door-to-door, though the actual time you spend depends on how many stops you make and how long you stay at each one. Bottled water is included. Pickup from your Hammamet accommodation is arranged as part of the booking.
