The experience

The day starts with pickup between 9:30 and 10:00 from your hotel in the Pattaya area. Beach Road, Second Road, Jomtien Beach Road, or Nakhula. By 11:00 you're at Koh Larn (Coral Island), where the water activities begin. This is where the structure changes: instead of following a fixed itinerary, you decide what to do. Snorkeling is the anchor activity, with abundant coral and undersea life around nearby islands like Koh Krok and Koh Sak. If you want more intensity, jet skis, banana boats and parasailing are available as add-ons at the island.

The island itself has soft white sand and glass-clear water. You can swim, rent a motorbike to explore, or stay on the beach. A guide is there to help if you need assistance renting equipment, but the pace and choice are yours. Bottled water and a beach towel are provided. After you finish the activities, usually by early afternoon, the boat returns you to Pattaya for a buffet lunch that includes halal options.

The whole outing runs five to six hours from pickup to drop-off. Travel insurance and the guide are included at no extra cost, as are parking fees and drone photos of your day. Packages vary: some bundle specific activities (parasailing and snorkeling, jet ski and banana boat), while others are transfer and lunch only, with activities paid separately at the island.

What's the snorkeling actually like around Coral Island?

Koh Larn is known for extensive coral and abundant undersea life. Snorkeling is recommended off the nearby islands of Koh Krok and Koh Sak, where the coral and fish populations are strongest. The water is clear and calm, typical of the Gulf of Thailand in this area.

Can I do snorkeling only, or do I have to book the water sports package?
