Step-by-step itinerary
Speedboat tour to Coral and Sak Islands
- Depart from Pattaya by speedboat
- Explore Koh Larn island activities
- Visit Koh Sak island for water sports
- Parasailing at Pattaya Coastline platform
- Return to Pattaya
The Experience
The speedboat leaves Pattaya and takes you to Coral Island first, where the water is clear enough for snorkeling and the reef holds enough marine life to make it worth the trip. Your guide is there to help you choose what to do — snorkel the shallows, paddle out on the board, or sit in the sea lounge if you want to stay dry. Sak Island comes next, a quieter stop with calmer water and the same menu of options: snorkeling, a banana boat ride, jet skiing or parasailing if that appeals to you. The two islands are close enough that the boat ride between them is short.
Snorkeling gear, a paddle board and bottled water come with the booking. The sea lounge — a floating platform — is there if you want to rest between activities without getting back on the boat. Pickup happens in the Pattaya city area, so you do not arrange your own transport to the pier. The guide speaks English or Chinese depending on which option you choose at checkout.
This is not a fixed itinerary where everyone does the same thing at the same time. You tell the guide what interests you — snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing — and the day is built around that. If you want to try two or three activities across the two islands, that works too. The six-hour window gives you time at each stop without rushing.

What is Coral Island like for snorkeling?
Coral Island, also called Koh Larn, sits just off Pattaya's coast and is known for clear water and abundant marine life. The island has beaches and calm areas suitable for snorkeling, and the reef holds enough fish and coral to make it a popular spot for both tourists and locals.
Can I do more than one water activity on the same day?
Yes. Your guide helps you choose what to do at each island — snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, sea-walking or paddle boarding — so you can mix activities across the two stops or focus on one you prefer.
Is the snorkeling equipment provided?
Snorkeling gear is included with your booking, along with a paddle board and bottled water. You do not need to bring or rent equipment separately.
How does pickup work in Pattaya?
Pickup is included from the Pattaya city area. You will be collected from your hotel or a central meeting point and taken to the pier where the speedboat departs.
What is the difference between Coral Island and Sak Island?
Coral Island is the larger, more developed stop with a variety of activities and more crowds. Sak Island is smaller, less developed and quieter, with calmer water — a good choice if you want a more relaxed atmosphere and fewer people.
Are children allowed on this snorkeling trip?
Children from age 3 are welcome. Infants must sit on an adult's lap. The activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers or anyone with poor cardiovascular health.
