The Experience

A PADI instructor or divemaster stays with the diving group, and a dedicated snorkeling guide watches over anyone not diving. Non-divers who want to skip the underwater part altogether can snorkel in the same clear water or simply rest on deck. The whole outing takes seven hours from pickup to drop-off. A minimum 18-hour gap is required between your last dive and any flight home. Yes. The Discover Scuba Diving option lets you complete your first certification in the calm, shallow waters at Racha Yai with a PADI instructor guiding you through the whole dive. Beginners must be at least 10 years old and complete a medical questionnaire before entering the water.

What's included in the snorkeling-only option if I don't want to dive?
