Scuba diving in Phuket with Blue Divecenter is a full-day activity on a dive boat visiting three sites—Racha Islands, Phuket Marine Park, and Phi Phi Islands—with three guided dives, all equipment, meals, and hotel pickup from Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata, Rawai or Chalong. Groups stay small so each diver gets personalized attention and can set their own pace underwater. Children from age 10 are welcome; non-certified divers pay an additional 1,000 THB per person.

The Experience

The boat leaves from one of six pickup points in Phuket and heads to three dive sites known for clear water and active marine life. You spend the day moving between the Racha Islands, Phuket Marine Park, and Phi Phi Islands—each stop a different reef with its own layout and inhabitants. The instructors are certified and speak English, Spanish, Italian, French and six other languages, so the briefing before each dive is in a language you follow without strain.

All diving gear comes with you: BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask and fins are provided, so you pack nothing but a towel and sunscreen. The boat carries a small group, which means the instructors can watch each diver closely and adjust the pace if someone needs to take it slower. Three dives across the day is the standard—morning, midday and afternoon—with surface intervals in between to rest and eat. Buffet-style meals, snacks, coffee, tea and bottled water are included, so you're not managing hunger or thirst between dives.

The 10-hour day runs from pickup to drop-off at your hotel. Non-certified divers can join for an extra 1,000 THB per person; the instructors will work with you on the boat before the first dive. The activity is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, cardiovascular issues, or pregnancy, and you'll need at least a moderate level of fitness to manage the entry, exit and underwater time.
