As the landscape shifts, you cycle alongside corn, wheat, turnips, onions and bananas, with herds of cattle, goats and sheep appearing along the route. The terrain stays mostly flat on a mix of dirt and tarmac road, and on clear days Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mawenzi rise in the distance.
As you approach Chemka Hotsprings, an oasis of trees shelters the water ahead. You'll swim in the natural hotsprings and eat lunch there before cycling back to Moshi. The whole day covers 60km. Your guide speaks English and carries water and snacks for the route.
