The experience

The tour opens at Lügibrüggli, a viewpoint 937 meters above sea level, positioned to frame the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau across the valley. From there you descend to the beaches of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz: the two bodies of water that give Interlaken its name, literally "between the lakes." The route passes through Unterseen and stops at a restaurant beach beside Lake Thun where you can pause for coffee or tea, then continues to Bönigen on Lake Brienz's shore.

The middle of the tour reaches a working Swiss cow farm near the village of Wilderswil, where you see the animals with their young. The route also passes the Adventure Park Interlaken (Seilpark), a rope park and grill facility. Because this is a private tour, the group stays under 13 people (it is only your party), and the guide adjusts the pace to your interests. The three-hour loop is built to show the landscape the way a paraglider would see it: high first, then down through the valleys and along the water.
