The experience
You meet your pilot at the base, then ride a cable car up to the launch site. A brief safety rundown covers what to expect, and then you're airborne: the pilot controls the paraglide while you sit in the harness and take in the landscape unfolding below. The flight itself carries you over the foothills and valleys of central Switzerland, with views across Lucerne, Engelberg, Emmetten, Zug or the Zurich area depending on which launch point you choose. The wind and thermals shape the route, so no two flights are identical.
Landing happens in the valley, and from there you make your way back to the train station. The whole experience, from meeting your pilot to returning to ground level, takes around 2.5 hours. The international team of pilots prioritizes safety and trust, and the activity suits all fitness levels. The pilot does the physical work of launching and landing, so you're free to focus on the view.
