The experience

The route covers 2,550 kilometers over seven days, moving through three countries on a modern air-conditioned coach with an experienced driver. You start in Lucerne, pass through the Gothic splendor of Milan's Duomo and the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then spend a morning in Venice with a local guide: a waterbus crossing to San Marco Island, the Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge's Palace, plus an optional gondola ride. The coach then carries you south to Rome for a full day that includes St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, with an optional add-on to see Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling, and your choice of the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, or free time to explore.

Wednesday takes you inland to Florence, where you start at Piazzale Michelangelo for a panoramic view over the city, walk past the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza del Duomo with its Campanile Tower, and see a leather-working demonstration in a local workshop before free time to visit the Uffizi Gallery or sit in a café. Then you travel to Pisa to photograph the Leaning Tower in the Square of Miracles, and overnight in a town near Genoa. Thursday is the French Riviera: a scenic coastal drive to Monaco for a walking tour of the Prince's Palace, the Oceanographic Museum and the Cathedral, then a guided tour of the Fragonard Perfume Factory, lunch in Nice, and a stop in Cannes at the Palais des Festivals before overnight near Avignon. Friday is a long rest day heading north through rural France to Paris. Saturday you return to Lucerne through Basel, with a final stop to see Chapel Bridge and Lucerne's Baroque and Gothic architecture.

A tour manager travels with the group and speaks English, Vietnamese or Chinese. Your language is set at booking. Each traveler brings one suitcase (maximum 30 kg) and one small carry-on. Rooms are twin beds by default but double beds can be requested. Children aged 2–11 sharing a twin room with an adult do not get a separate bed. Hotel details arrive 24–48 hours before check-in. A mandatory tip of €10 per person per day is collected in cash by the tour manager on the spot.
