Rent a jet ski on Great Bay in Philipsburg and take control of your own ride across the water for 30 minutes to an hour. You get a safety briefing from instructors, a designated riding area, beach chairs and an umbrella for before or after. A valid government-issued ID and age 18+ are required. Previous jet ski experience is not necessary.

The experience

The jet ski is yours to operate after a safety briefing from the Open Air Adventures team. Check in 15 minutes early, get your instructions, then head out into the designated area of Great Bay. You can ride solo or bring one passenger. Each jet ski holds up to two people. The whole setup sits just minutes from Philipsburg, so you're on the water quickly without a long commute.

Your booking includes the jet ski, life jacket, and fuel, so there are no surprise charges once you're out there. Two beach chairs and an umbrella come with every rental, giving you a place to settle in and dry off before or after your time on the water. The experience works for anyone 18 and up with a valid ID. No prior jet ski experience is needed, since the instructors walk you through everything.

Weather can cancel the outing, but if that happens you'll get offered another date or a full refund. The 350-pound weight limit per jet ski is a hard cap, and you cannot operate if you've had alcohol or drugs. Good weather and clear conditions are what make this work.
