The experience
The tour opens in Basseterre, where your guide takes you through the historic capital to show you the island's everyday rhythm. From there you head to Timothy Hill, a narrow strip of land that divides the Atlantic and Caribbean: the view stretches across the Frigate Bay Valley, the golf course that runs ocean to ocean, and coconut palms dotting the hillside. On a clear day you can see out toward Nevis.
The second half is yours to shape. You arrive at one of three beaches: Friars Bay (Carambola Beach Club), Ship Wreck, or Cockleshell, chosen based on conditions that day. The minivan drops you with access to bathrooms, change rooms, beach chairs, umbrellas, a restaurant and beach bars. Snorkeling is available if you want it, along with water skiing, sailing and other water sports. If you'd rather float in the warm Caribbean or watch the sky from a beach chair, that works too. The guide stays with the group, and you have time to move at your own pace.
Round-trip transport in an air-conditioned minivan is included, and the tour runs four hours total. Cruise ship passengers need to provide their ship name and docking details at booking so the meet-and-greet time aligns with your disembarkation window.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (2 to 11 years); Infant (under 2).
What is Timothy Hill and what can you see from there?
Timothy Hill is a narrow peninsula that divides the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, giving you a panoramic view of the South East Peninsula stretching toward Nevis. From the hilltop you can see the Frigate Bay Valley with homes built into the slope, a golf course that spans from the Atlantic to the Caribbean, and coconut palms across the landscape.
Which beaches does the tour visit, and how is that decided?
The tour visits Friars Bay (Carambola Beach Club), Ship Wreck, or Cockleshell. The guide chooses based on conditions at Friar's Bay, which is the first choice. If it's overcrowded, you go to another beach to make sure everyone has space to enjoy themselves.
Can you snorkel on this tour, or is it optional?
Snorkeling is available at the beach as one of several water activities: water skiing and sailing are also offered. You can choose to snorkel, try another water sport, or simply relax on the beach with the amenities provided. Nothing is mandatory.
What's included in the tour price, and what costs extra?
Round-trip transport by air-conditioned minivan and a driver/guide are included. Water sports and activities at the beach are available, though you should check with providers on pricing for those. Alcoholic drinks and souvenir photos can be purchased separately.
How does the tour work for cruise ship passengers?
Cruise passengers book by providing their ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time. The meet-and-greet and tour departure are timed to your ship's schedule, for example, if you dock at 9am, meet-and-greet is at 9:30am and the tour leaves at 10am. Bring your booking confirmation to the meet-and-greet point.
