The experience
Since the tour is completely private (just you, your party and your guide), you shape the day around what matters to you. The operator lists ten stops across the city: the Silk Exchange with its 15th-century ornate halls, the Central Market packed with fresh produce and local cheeses, the Cathedral (which claims to house the Holy Grail), the City of Arts and Sciences designed by Santiago Calatrava, Malvarrosa beach on the Mediterranean, the Serranos Towers for a city view, and the plazas and shopping streets in between. If something else catches your interest, the guide will work it in. Entrance to two museums or monuments comes included. The Cathedral costs an extra 5€ per person if you choose it.
The guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French or one additional language, and your hotel pickup means no navigating transit on arrival. The tour runs 6 to 8 hours depending on what you choose to see and how long you linger. The Central Market visit includes a tasting of horchata, the traditional Valencian sweet drink. The operator can arrange reservations at beachside restaurants, help book tickets to the Oceanografic aquarium, or suggest beach rentals if you want to end the day in the sun. Mobility restrictions and dietary needs are accommodated, and the city center is wheelchair accessible throughout.
You pick your group size at checkout: the option shapes how many people travel together and how the price breaks down, but the private guide and vehicle stay the same. If a traditional Valencian meal is part of your choice, the guide will take you to a local restaurant where you can taste regional favorites. Otherwise, meals and drinks beyond the horchata are on you.
