The experience

You meet at Las Galletas on the southwest coast and ride a jet ski for two hours along exclusive routes the operator has mapped out. A trained guide leads the way, setting the pace and pointing out the coastline as you move through the water. The route stays on the southwest side of the island, which means you're riding familiar territory rather than chasing distant landmarks. The focus is on the ride itself and the control you build over two hours.

Partway through, the group stops for professional photos. The operator shoots on a camera (not phone snapshots), so you get images that actually look like something when you're back home. After the ride ends, soft drinks and bottled water are waiting. The whole experience includes a wetsuite, so you're suited for the water temperature without renting or buying one separately.

Transport is free from anywhere in the south of the island. You don't arrange a taxi or navigate to the beach yourself. The vehicle is air-conditioned, which matters when you're wet and heading back.
