You'll stop repeatedly to photograph the Atlantic cliffs and the landscape unfolding below, then descend into Masca Village itself, a settlement founded by pirates that sits tucked into the valley. From there the tour moves east to Garachico, a town destroyed by lava flows over 300 years ago and rebuilt as the island's first capital. Walking through its streets, you see the layers of that history: colonial architecture standing on volcanic rock. The Dragon Tree in Icod, one of the oldest trees on earth, closes the loop. Your guide handles the driving and the narrative. You handle the camera and the questions.
