Mallorca: Segway Offroad Nature Tour with Tower Climb
Segway adventure in Mallorca’s nature with coastal views
You’ll roll through Mallorca’s wild trails by Segway with a local guide, climb an old tower for sweeping views over Cala Millor and Sa Coma, and maybe even glimpse Menorca if the sky’s clear. With helmets provided and bottled water waiting at the finish, it’s a mix of playful adventure and quiet moments high above the coast.
Step-by-step itinerary
Segway offroad and tower visit
- Drive Segway in nature park
- Go up old tower
- Enjoy views over Cala Millor and Sa Coma
- Spot Minorca if weather is good
The Experience
There was this odd crunch under the Segway tires as we left the last bit of pavement behind—like rolling over dried pine needles and little stones. I remember the guide, Toni, grinning at us before we even started, saying something about “real Mallorca air” (he meant the smell of wild rosemary and dust). My hands felt jittery on the handlebars at first, but honestly, you get used to it fast—especially when you’re weaving between trees and trying not to laugh too loud because my nephew kept pretending he was in some kind of video game.
The path wound up toward this old stone tower—I’d seen it from town before but never thought you could actually go up there. The climb wasn’t long, just a few steps inside that echoed when you walked. At the top, there was this hush—just wind and distant gulls. Toni pointed out Cala Millor and Sa Coma below, all those blue-green patches. He said if you squint (and if the weather’s playing nice), you can spot Menorca way out on the horizon. We tried. Not sure if I saw it or just wanted to.
I didn’t expect how much fun it would be offroad on a Segway—there’s a weird thrill in balancing while dodging roots and feeling sun on your arms. Kids over 30kg can join, so my niece was proud she made the cut (she kept announcing her weight like it was a badge). The helmets smelled faintly like soap and plastic—not bad—and they gave us cold bottled water at the end which tasted better than any fancy drink right then. Still think about that view from the tower sometimes; something about being above everything makes you feel lighter.
