A 5-hour catamaran sail from Colonia de Sant Jordi to Es Trenc and Es Cargol, with snorkeling equipment, lunch, drinks and swimming vests included. The boat departs from the historic pier behind Hotel Marqués, stops for 45 minutes in Es Trenc's turquoise shallows, then sails southeast around Cap Salines to Es Cargol for a longer 1 hour 45 minute stop where lunch is served on board. You swim, snorkel and relax on the bow nets or the floating mat between swims.

The Experience

The catamaran MAGIC leaves Colonia de Sant Jordi in the morning with a tropical welcome cocktail while you settle in. The sail to Es Trenc takes you past the quiet southeast coast of Mallorca — the first stop lasts about 45 minutes in water so shallow and clear that the sand stays visible from the surface. Snorkeling gear is already on board, and swimming vests are available if you want them.

After Es Trenc, the boat lifts anchor and rounds Cap Salines, heading to Es Cargol for the longer stop. Here you have nearly two hours to swim again, float on the mat anchored off the beach, sunbathe on the wide bow nets, or snorkel along the reef. The barbecue — chicken breast, skewers and sausages with salad, bread and fresh watermelon — is served on deck during this stop, along with wine, sangria and soft drinks throughout. A last swim is possible before the sail back to the starting point.

Weather can shift the route, and the boat only takes card payments on board (not American Express). Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller, and the catamaran is suitable for all fitness levels.
