The Experience

The catamaran leaves Port d'Alcudia and heads out along the bay, passing the cliffs and the Aucanada lighthouse — the coastline here is steep and rocky, so the views from the water are the ones you can't get from land. After an hour or so the boat reaches Coll Baix, a small secluded beach tucked into the coast, and drops anchor. This is the first swim stop: the water is clear enough to see the bottom, and you have time to float, dive or just sit on the sand before the crew signals it's time to move.

The second leg heads to a cove in the Bay of Pollensa. As soon as the boat anchors, snorkel equipment and kayak boards are ready to use — no rental fees, no signing up, just grab what you want. While you're in the water or paddling, the crew is setting up lunch on deck. When you're ready to eat, there's chicken, sausage, pasta salad and fruit, with water, soft drinks, beer and sangria included. After lunch there's another hour or so for a final swim before the boat heads back to port, arriving around 3pm.

The tour runs five hours total and suits all fitness levels. A live guide speaks English, Spanish or German throughout the day. Infants can come along — they can sit on an adult's lap or in a stroller if you bring one, and public transport stops are nearby if you need to get to the port.
