The experience
You board at Corralejo Port and sail toward Lobos Island, a small volcanic formation about 6 square kilometers across, with the Caldera Volcano rising 127 meters at its peak. The route passes through the Bocaina Channel: a five-kilometer strait between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote where the water depth stays under 10 meters and both islands are visible from the boat on clear days. As you sail, you'll see the Great Dunes National Park from the water, its white sand dunes meeting turquoise Atlantic swells on one side and volcanic red-and-ochre landscape on the other.
The boat anchors in the south of Lobos, and from there the day branches into what suits you. Snorkeling equipment, a kayak and a stand-up paddleboard are all on board. You can move between them or stay with one. Families often settle into the water and the rhythm of swimming and floating. Friends tend to rotate through the activities and play in the transparent water. Sailing enthusiasts work with Captain Julian and his crew on technique and sail handling. Refreshing beverages (beer, wine, coffee and tea) are available throughout, and the crew keeps the atmosphere relaxed and social.
The three-hour window means you spend real time in the water rather than rushing between stops. You return to Corralejo Port at the end of the same day, with the Caldera Volcano and the Bocaina Channel behind you.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24h before the start.
What exactly is the Bocaina Channel and why does it matter for snorkeling?
La Bocaina is a five-kilometer-wide strait separating Fuerteventura from Lanzarote, with Lobos Island sitting in the middle. The water depth never exceeds 10 meters, which creates calm, transparent conditions ideal for snorkeling and paddleboarding. The shallow depth also means both islands are visible from the boat on clear days.
Can I try the kayak and paddleboard if I've never done them before?
Yes. Both the kayak and stand-up paddleboard are on board and available for anyone to try. The crew is there to help, and the anchored position in the south of Lobos means you're in calm water where you can practice at your own pace without pressure to move on.
Is lunch included, or should I eat before boarding?
Lunch is not included. Drinks (beer, wine, coffee and tea) are provided throughout the three hours, but you'll want to eat before you arrive at Corralejo Port or bring your own snacks if you prefer.
What's the Caldera Volcano and where do I see it?
The Caldera is a preserved volcano on Lobos Island with a crater 70 meters deep and a peak 127 meters high. You see it best from the boat as you sail around the island. Its dramatic shape stands out clearly against the sky and water.
