The experience

The day starts at Puerto de Órzola with a ferry crossing to La Graciosa. Once you arrive at Caleta de Sebo, the island's main town, you choose how to spend the first part of the morning: join the guide to hear about the village's history and traditions, or explore on your own. Either way, you have time to walk the waterfront before boarding the catamaran.

The catamaran departs for a cruise along La Graciosa's south coast. A welcome mojito and a tortilla bite arrive as you leave the harbor, and the boat carries you toward Playa Francesa, a sheltered beach on the island's southern edge. While you're on deck, the onboard chefs prepare a fresh paella. Throughout the sail, the open bar keeps beer, sangria, soft drinks and water flowing. The pace is unhurried. This is a relaxation cruise, not a sightseeing sprint.

At Playa Francesa, the catamaran anchors and you have the afternoon to swim, kayak or simply sit in the sun. The beach is quiet and the water calm enough for both activities. When it's time to return, you sail back to Caleta de Sebo and catch the ferry back to Órzola, arriving in late afternoon. If you booked hotel pickup, the driver meets you at the port. Otherwise, you arrange your own transport back to your accommodation.
