The Experience

The air felt cooler as we left Granada behind—windows down, the faint scent of wild herbs drifting in from the hills. Our guide, Javier, chatted about local legends while we wound our way up narrow roads toward Lentegi. After a quick stop for coffee at a roadside bar (the kind with faded plastic chairs and strong espresso), we reached the trailhead. Helmets on, harnesses checked—nerves buzzing just a little.

The first ten minutes were just walking, boots crunching over loose stones. Then suddenly, the canyon opened up below us—layers of rock shaped by years of water and wind.
