The experience
The boat leaves the port of Denia and sails four kilometers along the Las Rotas coastline, a rocky marine reserve where you'll see Cova Tallada (a sea cave many consider the most beautiful spot on this stretch of coast) without landing on the protected beach. After thirty minutes of sailing, the catamaran picks up additional passengers in Javea, then heads to Cala Blanca for the main part of the day. The route itself is the draw here: you're moving through water most travelers see only from the shore, with good music playing and the captain choosing the stops.
Once anchored, you get in the water for swimming and snorkeling, then take a turn on a jet ski: the operator's main amenity and what separates this from a standard lunch cruise. The jet ski ride is included and runs at full speed across the bay. Between the water time, the catamaran serves a complete Mediterranean meal: salad, Valencian paella cooked aboard, fresh fruit, and your choice of water, soft drinks, beer or summer red wine. The whole day moves at a relaxed pace, built around the eating and swimming rather than rushing between sites.
You'll need to book from either Denia or Javea. The catamaran picks up from both ports, so choose whichever is closer to where you're staying. Redeem your booking at the Boramar box office in Denia (Esplanade Cervantes 2) or in Javea (Puerto de Javea and Plaza Adolfo Suárez). If you're boarding in Javea, the departure point is the sea wall of Levante next to the green lighthouse. Infants sit on an adult's lap, and the activity suits all fitness levels.

Is this one for you?Book the Denia departure if you're staying in that area and want the full four-kilometer coastal sail as part of your day. Choose Javea if you're based there and prefer a shorter boat ride to Cala Blanca. Either way, the jet ski is the main event. If you want the speed and control of driving one yourself, this trip delivers it as part of the package rather than as an add-on.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Spanish.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 12 years); Infant (under 4).
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is Cova Tallada and why does the catamaran sail past it?
Cova Tallada is a sea cave carved into the rocky Las Rotas coastline near Denia, considered by many to be the most beautiful natural feature in the area. The catamaran sails close enough for you to see it clearly during the first thirty minutes of the journey, though the coastline is a marine reserve and the boat does not land.
Can I bring my own snorkeling gear or do I need to rent it?
Snorkeling equipment is not included with this trip, so you'll need to bring your own mask, fins and snorkel if you want to use them during the swimming stop.
How does the jet ski experience work? Is it a guided ride or do I drive it myself?
The jet ski ride is included and you drive it yourself across the bay at full speed. It's part of the day's itinerary and happens during the anchored time at Cala Blanca.
What's included in the Mediterranean meal served on board?
Lunch includes a complete salad, Valencian paella cooked aboard, fresh fruit, and your choice of water, soft drinks, beer or summer red wine. The meal is served while the catamaran is anchored.
Do I have to choose between departing from Denia or Javea when I book?
Yes, you pick one departure point at checkout. The catamaran picks up from Denia first, then collects more passengers in Javea before heading to Cala Blanca. Choose Denia if that's where you're based, or Javea if you're staying closer to that port.
