The experience
Yongmeori Coast opens the day: a volcanic headland shaped like a dragon's head plunging into the sea, with cliffs up to 200 meters tall and turquoise water below. The site closes during high tide and rough weather, so timing matters. The guide knows when it is safe to visit. From there the route moves inland to a tangerine farm where you step into rows of trees heavy with fruit and pick your own. Jeju Island grows tangerines year-round, but the main harvest runs October through February, when the whole island turns yellow except in the city centers. You get photos of yourself among the trees.
Sanbangsan Mountain is a massive lava dome from volcanic eruptions 700,000 to 800,000 years ago. A cave called sanbang sits about 150 meters up the slope, and inside it stands Sangbangsa Temple, a Buddhist shrine built into the rock. The southern cliffs show weathering pits and scree slopes carved by wind and water over millennia. O'Sulloc Tea Museum comes next, with tea fields you can walk through, two cafes serving teas and desserts, and a shop selling Jeju tea and skincare products to take home. Lunch is included at a local restaurant between stops.
The tour also passes Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road along the western tip, where offshore wind turbines line the shore against an emerald sea, and Geumneung Stone Park, filled with stone sculptures carved over 40 years: dol-harubang grandfather statues, haenyeo diving women, and scenes of Jeju life. A government-licensed English-speaking guide leads the group throughout. Hotel pickup in Jeju City downtown is included. If you prefer to meet the group, a downtown meeting point is available. The van is air-conditioned and seats up to 15 people.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 17 years); Infant (under 3): free.
What is Yongmeori Coast like when I get there?
Yongmeori Coast is a volcanic headland with dramatic rock formations shaped like a dragon's head, surrounded by turquoise water and cliffs up to 200 meters tall. The site is closed during high tide, high winds and rough weather, so the guide confirms conditions before the visit and times it for safe access.
Can I really pick tangerines, or is it just a demonstration?
You pick tangerines yourself at a working farm, stepping into rows of trees and harvesting fruit during the October-to-February season. The farm is active and you take home what you pick. It is also a good place for photos.
Is lunch included, and what kind of food do I eat?
Lunch is included at a local restaurant between the main stops. The specific menu depends on the restaurant and the day, so ask the guide or the booking confirmation for details on dietary needs or preferences.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Yongmeori Coast closes during high tide, high winds, high waves and adverse weather. The guide will adjust the itinerary or reschedule the visit to a safe time. The tour can be cancelled if fewer than three travelers are booked.
Do I need to arrange my own transport to the meeting point?
Hotel pickup in Jeju City downtown is included in the tour price. If you prefer not to be picked up, a downtown meeting point is available instead.
