The experience
The day starts on Cousin Island, a protected nature reserve where you walk trails through lush vegetation to find giant tortoises in their natural habitat and spot the rare Seychelles warbler among diverse bird species. The trails wind through the island's interior, giving you time to photograph and move at your own pace before heading to the next stop.
Curieuse Island comes next, known for its striking red soil and mangrove forests. A guide leads you through the island's history, including the remnants of a former leper colony, and you'll encounter hundreds of land tortoises roaming freely. The operator serves a BBQ buffet lunch upon arrival, and you can snorkel in the clear waters offshore to see coral reefs and marine life before moving on.
St. Pierre, a small islet at the end of the day, is built around granite formations and shallow snorkeling spots. The crystal-clear water here draws vibrant coral and fish close to shore, making it the final snorkel of the tour before the return to Praslin. Snorkeling equipment is provided throughout the day, and snacks are included alongside lunch.
