The experience

The boat leaves Praslin at 9am and reaches Cocos Island by 9:20am, where you spend three hours snorkeling and swimming. A guide goes in the water with you. The reef here holds hundreds of fish and turtles, with coral formations underneath. Between snorkels, you rest on the white sand beach while the crew provides soft drinks and water.

By noon you head to Félicité Island, a small granite island inside a protected marine park, and snorkel again before the return trip to Praslin. The whole activity wraps by 12:30pm, which means you have the afternoon free. The speedboat is shared with other guests, and the guide speaks English or French depending on the group.
