You pick the distilleries or let the guide suggest them based on what you want to taste. Benromach, Glen Moray, Glenlivet, Tomatin, Glenfarclas and others are all within reach, each with its own character: Benromach known for peaty smoke and sherry influence, Glenlivet for floral and fruity notes, Tomatin for smoothness. The guide is a whisky expert who knows the region and can steer you toward expressions that match what you're after, whether that's rare bottles, single casks or the distillery's signature releases. Distillery tours and tastings at each stop are optional. If a distillery is fully booked, the guide can pivot to another or arrange a tasting back in the vehicle from the private collection.

The whisky tasting itself happens throughout the day, not just at the distilleries. You'll taste from 10+ bottles from what the operator calls the best whisky collection on wheels in Scotland: new releases, old favourites, rare bottlings and single casks. Each tasting is paired with chocolate chosen to enhance the flavours of the whisky, showing how different chocolates can shift what you taste in both young and aged expressions. Bottled water, Scottish snacks and IRN BRU refresh you between tastings. Scottish gin is available if you ask when you book.

The vehicle is a luxury BMW (either an X5 or X7 depending on which option you choose) designed to reach places other tour vehicles can't, with an elevated vantage point to take in the Scottish Highland scenery as you move between stops. The eight-hour day means you're not rushed. The guide handles the route and timing so the distilleries, the tastings and the drive fit together without you building the schedule yourself. Pickup is included, and WiFi is on board if you need it.
