The experience

The tour runs 7 to 8 hours from Riyadh, starting with a drive out to the Bat Cave near the Tuwaiq Mountains. You'll have a short guided visit to the cave entrance, learn about its geological formation, and take photos in a safe setting before heading to the main event. The drive gives you time to settle in and get your bearings before the hiking begins.

At the Edge of the World, you walk about a kilometer each way to reach the viewpoints where the cliff drops away and the desert stretches endlessly in front of you. The hike is basic walking on established ground, and the guide leads you to spots where the views open up across the landscape. This is where most people spend time taking photos and standing at the edge itself, absorbing the scale of the place.
