Day two is the trek itself: you spend 5 to 8 hours moving through Piatra Craiului National Park, crossing two authentic mountain villages (Magura and Pestera), where you'll stop for lunch at a working sheep farm (June through September) and eat local food at the guesthouse where you sleep. The route depends on weather and your group's pace. If conditions allow, you can climb to the highest peak of the park at 2,238 meters, and you'll pass through Zarnesti Gorges. You'll need waterproof hiking boots and warm clothes, and the operator provides hand sanitizer and cleans vehicles after each tour.

Bran Castle's interior is now guided independently or by the castle's official guides only, so your tour guide accompanies you to the entrance but does not lead the walk-through.
