The experience

The tour starts at the Infopoint on Piata Huet and moves through Sibiu's renovated medieval center on foot. Your guide leads you through the Large Square (the heart of the city, ringed by historic buildings including the Brukenthal Palace and the Council Tower), then to the Small Square and across Liars' Bridge, one of the city's most photographed landmarks. You'll see the Evangelical Cathedral and the Orthodox Cathedral of Sibiu, with entry to a local church included in the price.

The route is built around history and architecture rather than a fixed sequence of timed stops, so the pace stays steady and the guide can linger where the light or your questions warrant it. You get two to three hours on the ground. The exact duration depends on group size and how long people spend at each site. The tour operates year-round with two seasonal departure times: 10am from November through April, and 5pm from May through October.

An English-speaking guide is included. The tour also runs in German. Entry to a local church, all taxes, and the guide's time are part of the price. If you want a private tour instead of a shared group departure, a supplement of EUR 20 per person applies at checkout. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum group size is two people.
