Escape Room in Sibiu: 70-Minute Tactical Mission, No Screens

Seventy minutes offline: observation, decisions under pressure, and teamwork with no screens in sight

This 70-minute indoor tactical mission in Sibiu is an escape room reimagined as a real-world adventure where your team must communicate, observe and act without phones or digital help. A live guide in English, Spanish or Romanian briefs your group and sets the mission in motion. You then work together to face challenges, make decisions under pressure and complete the objective. No screens, no scrolling. Just your team, the mission and the clock.

The experience

The mission starts the moment you leave your phone behind. Unlike a traditional escape room, this is built around disconnection: no screens to scroll, no digital distractions, just your team relying on observation, communication and trust to move through a series of tactical challenges. The 70-minute timer runs while you face decisions that require strategy and pressure management. The atmosphere is set in Transylvania, but the real story unfolds through what your team does, not what you watch.

A live guide briefs your group and launches the mission, then you're on your own to work through it. The challenges are designed to make you talk to each other, notice details others miss and act on what you've figured out. Teamwork is not optional. It's the only way forward. The experience is set indoors in Sibiu, so weather and daylight don't factor in. You can book an afternoon slot if you have a few free hours between other plans, or a morning session before exploring the city.

Top questions

What languages is the tour guided in?

Live guide in English, Spanish and Romanian.

What happens if my team gets stuck on a challenge during the mission?

The live guide is present throughout and can offer hints if your team requests help, though solving the challenges yourselves is the goal. The mission is designed so groups can progress without getting permanently blocked.

Do I need any special skills or experience to do this escape room?

No special skills are required. The mission is suitable for all physical fitness levels and works for teams with mixed abilities: observation and communication matter more than physical strength or technical knowledge.

Can I bring my phone into the mission, or do I have to leave it completely behind?

You leave your phone behind before the mission starts. That disconnection from the digital world is central to the experience and what makes the teamwork real.

What is the group size, and can I book this for a private team?

The mission accommodates teams of varying sizes. You can book for your own group. The live guide runs the briefing and mission for however many people you bring.

How is the mission different from a standard escape room?

This is built as a tactical mission, not a puzzle-solving game. You're making real-time decisions under pressure, communicating constantly and working toward an objective as a unit. There are no screens, no scrolling and no outside help. Just your team and the challenge in front of you.
