The Experience

The tour starts with hotel pickup and moves through central Bucharest in a sedan or minivan depending on group size. You'll stand in front of the Parliament Palace, the second-largest building in the world, then move to Revolution Square, where the former communist president delivered his last speech in 1989. These two stops anchor the political history the guide walks you through.

The Old Town (Lipscani) is a walking section through 19th-century architecture, cafes and the Macca-Villacrosse Passage, a covered arcade full of hookah bars and shops.
