The experience
The dive center handles the briefing and gear fitting. You drive your own vehicle to the day's site, which is a short drive from Rincón Diving & Snorkeling. Your guide meets you there, leads the shore entry and descent, and adjusts the route based on conditions and marine life. Hawksbill turtles are common year-round, eagle rays show up seasonally, and the reef shifts enough that regulars see something new. No boat means no exhaust, no anchor damage, and no mass-market turnover. The operation has rooted itself in Rincón for 13 years and runs strict reef protection protocols on every dive.
Tank and weights are included. Additional equipment is available to rent, or bring your own if you prefer the fit. The dive center offers free filtered rainwater refills if you bring a bottle. After you surface, your guide can identify what you saw, answer questions about conditions, and help you plan another dive if you're staying longer. Certified divers of any level are welcome. If you haven't been underwater in over a year, ask about a refresher before you book so you can feel confident getting back in.
