It covers what you need to feel confident in the saddle. Once the guide walks you through the essentials, you'll do a couple of practice turns in the briefing area itself, staying close to where you started so you can get a feel for the horse and your own balance before heading out.

When you and your guide both feel ready, the real ride begins. You'll head out along the coastline, passing Punta Borinquen Beach with its golden sand and turquoise water, and riding past the 18th-century ruins that sit on Aguadilla's bluffs: crumbling walls and arches that once served as a military lookout against pirate attacks.
