The experience

The e-bike tour in Ponta Delgada takes you along the rim of the main Sete Cidades volcano crater and then down inside it. You start at the parking area and ride along the crater's edge: later, the electric motor helps with the 300 meters of climbing back up, which is why families with kids 4'11" and up can do this without it turning into a slog.
