The riding happens in a natural landscape surrounding the school, so you're not in an arena or on a track. This is the "baptism on horseback": the operator's term for a first contact with riding, whether you've never been on a horse before or you're an adult returning to it after years away. Children ride too. The school notes that infants and small children can come along in a pram or stroller if needed. The experience ends where it began, and bottled water is provided.
