The experience

The canyon sits just outside Salga, wrapped in rainforest, and you reach it after a 20-minute hike from where you gear up. Your guides brief you on safety before you enter the canyon itself, then you move through on your own terms: jumping into pools, sliding down rock faces, and rappelling down waterfalls that reach up to 16 meters. The activity is built for first-timers and experienced adventurers alike, with optional elements so you can push as hard as you want or take it easier.

You get a helmet, wetsuit, harness, socks and boots. The guides carry the rest. Photos and videos of the day are included, along with insurance. The whole thing runs about four hours from start to finish. Guides speak English, Spanish or Portuguese depending on your group.

What’s included

  • ICA certified guides leading the activity.
  • all canyoning equipment (helmet, wetsuit, harness, socks and boots).
  • photos and videos from the day.
  • insurance coverage.
