The experience

You board a private sailboat and spend two hours on the water instead of walking the city streets. Two crew members handle the sailing while pointing out monuments and explaining their history and cultural significance. The boat passes Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, Christ the King across the river, Commerce Square, the Electricity Factory, Jerónimos Monastery, and the colorful houses stacked in Alfama. The crew provides brief commentary on each landmark so you understand what you're looking at as it comes into view.

Comfort is built in: blankets are available if the wind picks up, a Bluetooth speaker plays music, and a welcome drink is served when you arrive. Bottled water and soft drinks are on hand throughout. The boat is equipped with safety gear and comfortable seating. You can bring a small child in a pram or stroller, and service animals are welcome. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted, though additional drinks can be purchased onboard for €3 each.
