The experience

The class starts at the office with 20 minutes of equipment setup: you get a helmet, board or skis, and wax, then head out by buggy into the dunes. A certified instructor rides with you and demonstrates technique before you make your own descent. The guide photographs and films your run so you have a record of what you landed.

After you've had time on the board or skis, the group sits in the middle of the oasis to watch the sunset over the desert. The buggy returns you to the office around 6:30 PM. The class is built around hands-on practice with one instructor, not a mass group format, so the pacing and focus adapt to what you're working on.
