The experience
You arrive in Lahore with limited time and no transport arranged. This tour handles both: a private vehicle picks you up from your hotel or airport, and a guide who speaks English leads you through two full days of the city's Mughal and colonial landmarks without you planning the route or managing the stops. The first day centers on Lahore Fort (its Armour Museum, Deewan-e-Aam, Deewan-e-Khass, Mughal Art Gallery and Mirror Palace), then moves to the Badshahi Mosque, built in 1673 by the sixth Mughal emperor and considered one of the world's largest. You'll also see the tomb of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet of Pakistan, which sits near the mosque's stairs.
Day two takes you to the Shalimar Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site laid out by Shah Jahan in 1641–42 and built on Persian and medieval Islamic garden traditions. From there, the route moves through the walled city's narrow streets and historic sites like Wazir Khan Mosque and Shahi Hammam, then to Anarkali Bazaar (Lahore's oldest market, split into old and new sections on the Mall Road), and Liberty Market for ready-made clothes and accessories. The tour ends at the Wagah border, where you watch the daily flag-lowering ceremony between Pakistan and India, a ritual that has marked the boundary since Partition in 1947.
The vehicle is air-conditioned and equipped with WiFi. All entrance tickets to the sites are included, as are taxes and service charges. The guide is your constant reference for the history and layout of each stop, so you move through the sites without hunting for information or worrying about timing.

What happens at the Wagah border ceremony?
The Wagah border is where Pakistan and India lower their flags each day in a coordinated ceremony. The border takes its name from the Wahga village nearby and marks the Radcliffe Line drawn at Partition in 1947. You'll watch the flag-lowering ritual as part of the second day's route.
