A 2-hour dolphin and whale watching activity in Muscat puts you on a boat in waters rich with spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, common dolphins, and seasonal whale sharks. The operator runs the activity year-round with a live guide in English, Punjabi, Arabic or Hindi, lifejacket, water and soft drinks included; children from age 5 are welcome. The Experience
The sea around Muscat holds spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and common dolphins year-round. From May through October, whale sharks move into the same waters. On rarer trips you'll see false killer whales, humpback whales, orcas, and occasionally Arabian or blue whales. The operator emphasizes responsible wildlife watching—staying at distances that protect the animals and keep the experience genuine for everyone on the boat.
You spend two hours on the water, which is long enough to move along the coast and let the guide position the boat where dolphins are hunting or traveling.
