The Experience

I didn’t expect to be nervous until we were actually standing on that first platform, clipped in and looking out over the trees on Waiheke Island. The ferry from Auckland had been easy — just 40 minutes and suddenly everything felt greener and quieter. Our guides, Sam and Tui, cracked jokes about “flying kiwis” as they checked our harnesses.
